Mamanuca Island Holidays

FOR anyone seeking a white sand beach, then the Mamanuca island group of Fiji is an ideal choice. There are about 20 idyllic islands in the Mamanucas, many of which have holiday beach resorts on them. Some are quite small, such as Beachcomber and Treasure, while others such as Malolo are much larger. Mamanuca resorts offer beachfront holiday accommodation for all kinds of vacation interests, including family holidays, beach getaway, diving, wedding or honeymoon. Some of these romantic island resorts are for couples only and one (Likuliku Lagoon) offers Fiji's first overwater accommodation. Transfers to the island resorts in the Mamanucas are by high-speed catamarans, chartered helicopter or float planes. Two islands - Malolo Lailai and Mana - have airstrips, allowing for regular scheduled air flights direct from Nadi.
